Ms. Curtis Library Page
What is maker space?...Makerspace is a maker movement that involves a DIY concept, orchestrated in a creative space where people can gather to create, invent and learn using the hands-on approach; involving technology, reading & writing, construction & building, arts & crafts, painting, recycling of materials, games, drawing etc. This new educational reform model for the library media center now involves all content areas transforming from STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) and now STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and math). With this new learning concept in place, students will become college and career ready.
